INDICATION (BLUE BOOK / UKK)
In combination with other antiretroviral agents (such as non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors or protease inhibitors) for the treatment of HIV-1 infected in adults.
DOSING FOR ADULTS GUIDE [DIAMS HSgB]
TDF 300 mg / FTC 200 mg (1 tablet) PO q 24h
RENAL DOSE ADJUSTMENT IN ADULTS GUIDE [DIAMS HSgB]
30-49 ml/min:
1 tablet PO q48h
Monitor for worsening renal function / consider switching to TAF/FTC for pts with HBV co-infection
<30 ml/min or HD:
co-formulated tablet is not recommended.
Consider switching TDF to TAF for pts with HBV co-infection
Use single formulation of each drug:
Tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) & Lamivudine (3TC)** and adjust according to individual renal dose. [**Use 3TC as alternative to FTC as FTC single agent not available in HSgB]
