INDICATION (BLUE BOOK / UKK)
Only for treatment of i) certain forms of meningitis ii) septicaemia not responding to usual antibiotics iii) mycoplasma pneumonia iv) infection with gram-positive organisms (e.g. tetanus, streptococcal infection) associated with Penicillin allergy, only when oral erythromycin cannot be given.
