ALTERNATIVE DOSING (BLUE BOOK / HSgB DRUG LIST)

i) ADULT: 100 mg each other day or 50 mg daily with 100mg Dapsone & 300mg once a month with 600mg rifampicin under supervision. Maximum: 200 mg/day. CHILD: 10-14 yr: 50mg clofazimine on alternate days with 50mg dapsone & 150 mg clofazimine with 450 mg rifampicin once a month.Maximum: 100 mg/day. ii) 100 mg daily iii) 200-300mg usually effective. Treatment with minimum suppression dose continued for at least 6 months
