Infections due to beta-lactamase producing strain where amoxycillin alone is not appropriate. Resp tract, skin, soft tissue, GUT infection, septicaemia, peritonitis, post-op infection & osteomyelitis.

Usual dose:
625 mg (1 tablet) PO q8h

Melioidosis Eradication/ Maintenance Therapy
<60kg: 1,250 mg (2 tablets) PO q8h
>60kg: 1,875 mg (3 tablets) PO q8h

CrCl 10-30 ml/min:
100% of normal dose PO q12h

CrCl <10 ml/min or HD:
100% of normal dose PO q24h

ADULT & CHILD more than 12 years:
Mild to moderate infections: 625 mg twice daily.
