Infections caused by susceptible organisms. Respiratory tract, skin, soft tissue, GUT infection, septicaemia, peritonitis, post-operative infection & osteomyelitis

Usual dose:
1,200 mg IV q8h
Serious infections, Liver abscess, Lung abscess or Empyema:
1,200 mg IV q6-8h
RENAL DOSE ADJUSTMENT IN ADULTS GUIDE [DIAMS HSgB]
CrCl 30-50 ml/min:
1,200 mg IV q8h
CrCl 10-29 ml/min:
1,200 mg IV q12h
CrCl < 10 ml/min or HD:
1,200 mg IV q24h
